| Managing Social & Environmental Consequencies Of Mining |
This event will enable environmental managers and officers to combat the issues faced by mining companies
in relation to their environment management plans. Mining companies are aware that there are massive environmental
obligations resulting from the use of land and natural resources. Many mining companies go above and beyond the
requirements in order to lessen their impact on our planet and insure the future of the industry and our environment.
However, they still struggle with many issues, particularly as we face global warming. Managing Social and Environmental
Consequences of Mining will not only cover best practice in environmental management but it will also illustrate methods
of understanding and implementing legislation into plans, solving water management issues and the ever looming concerns
of carbon emissions reportage and trading. This conference will bring together leading mining consultants, designers,
vendors, industry experts, scientists, distinguished academics and scholars to a forum that will discuss recent
advances in Managing Social and Environmental Consequences of Mining. A unique opportunity to explore various relevant
fields relating to industry, academia, government, enterprise and other market segments from around the subcontinent and
the world at large will thus be created.
