    Dr. Abimbola Windapo is an Associate Professor at the Department of Construction Economics and Management at the University of Cape Town, with more than 28 years of experience in the construction industry. She is a registered Construction Project Manager with the SA Council for the Project and Construction Management Profession (SACPCMP) and Registered Builder with CORBON. Her research focus is in the area of construction industry development from a performance and practice perspective.

    Daniels was previously employed with Professional Architectural Practices for over a period of 10 years as an Architectural Technician. He has been working at EThekwini Municipality for the past 20 years, where he is the Senior Manager for Building Inspectorate in the Development Management Department. He is responsible for the strategic Management of the Building Inspectorate Branch by way of enhancement, development and performance for the administrative, operational and management components of the various functionalities.

    Amanda Mtya is a Lecturer at the University of Cape Town’s Construction Economics and Management Department. Her previous work experience involves construction site management (industrial and retail infrastructure), Project Management consultancy and public sector Infrastructure Project Management. Her research interests include construction management and the implementation of BIM standards and legislation in South Africa.
