    Johan Palm has a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Pretoria. Johan introduced integrated 3D structural design at Hatch in 1999. Johan worked in North America and Australia on projects as lead structural engineer, engineering manager and project manager. Recently Johan completed a R3B project in the DRC as Project Manager. In April this year Johan took up the Civil Engineering Practice Lead role at Hatch for Africa, Middle East and Europe. Johan’s current responsibilities extent in reviewing global mega projects and he is also currently engineering manager on a multi-billion-dollar project study in the DRC.

Iain’s other activities are as a director of the Innovations in Construction group called COMIT and as an Ambassador for the Bloodhound Supersonic Car.
